Rainfall: (From 0830 hours IST of yesterday to 0830 hours IST of today): Rain occurred at most places over Himachal Pradesh, East Rajasthan, West Bengal & Sikkim, Assam & Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur Mizoram & Tripura, Gujarat region, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Marathawada, Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan & Goa, Coastal Karnataka, North Interior Karnataka and Kerala; at many places over Uttarakhand, Bihar, Jharkhand, Telangana and Lakshadweep; at a few places over Jammu & Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over West Rajasthan, Saurashtra & Kutch, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tamilnadu. The amounts of rainfall (3 cm & more) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Mahabaleshwar­29; Pachmarhi­16; Adilabad­14; Hoshangabad­13; Betul­12; Chandrapur­11; Khandwa & Kolhapur­10 each; Harnai, Washim­9; Kochin(Willingdon), Akola, Narsinghpur, Seoni, Parbhani & Cochin­7 each; Mandla, Sangli, Nanded & Nizamabad­6 each; Diamond Harbour, Buldana, Deesa, Satara & Valprai­5 each; Cherrapunji, Digha, Ranchi, Bhopal, Khargone, Idar, Jalgaon, Chhindwara & Ratnagiri­4 each; Mandi, Agra, Shivpuri, Silchar, Imphal, Kolkata (Dum­Dum), Canning, Dhar, Mount Abu,  Bikaner,Baroda,  Dhar,  Indore,  Amraoti,  Jhansi,  Nasik,  Bramhapuri,Yeotmal,  Goa,  Belgaum  &  Ramgundam­ 3  each.

On 12­07­2016: Minimum temperature are appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at a few places over Jammu & Kashmir; above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C) at most places over Uttarakhand & West Uttar Pradesh; at many places over Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, Sub­Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim and Tamilnadu; at a few places over West Rajasthan, Bihar, Odisha and Coastal Andhra Pradesh and at isolated places over Assam & Meghalaya, Gangetic West Bengal and Jharkhand. They are markedly below normal (< ­5.0°C) over West Madhya Pradesh; below normal (­1.6°C to ­3.0°C) at isolated places over rest Andhra Pradesh, Saurashtra & Kutch, rest Assam & Meghalaya, Vidarbha, Odisha and Telangana and near normal over rest of the country.

On 11­07­2016: Maximum temperatures were above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C) at most places over Punjab; at many places over Jammu & Kashmir, West Rajasthan and Coastal Karnataka; at a few places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura and at isolated places over West Bengal & Sikkim, Kerala and Tamilnadu. They were markedly below normal (­5.0°C or less) at a few places over Vidarbha and Telangana; appreciably below normal (­3.1°C to5.0°C) at most places over Marathwada and Madhya Maharashtra; at many places over West Madhya Pradesh; below normal (­ 1.6°C to ­3.0°C) at many places over Odisha, Chhattisgarh, East Rajasthan and North Interior Karnataka; at a few places over rest Vidarbha and rest Telangana and at isolated places over Uttarakhand and Konkan & Goa and near normal over the rest of the country. The highest maximum temperature of 41.3°C recorded at Churu  (West Rajasthan) in the country
